First Meet Recap of the Season.

I usually get a little nervous before meets, more so the first meet of the season.  Even more when I am not sure what the opponent has for a team, and even more when I have very young team with not a great deal of meet experience.

But what we got today was one of the best opening day meets that I have coached in a long time.  Needless to say Coach Courtny and I were very excited about what transpired today.

That being said, we discussed a great deal of things on the bus ride back.  We covered all the positives, but now that we know better of the skill set we have, the Pain-O-Meter is going to need to be cranked up a bit.  We are home for meets and practice until September 9th.  That means we are going to get to know our pool very well of the next three weeks.

So the message is: Good/Solid start to the season; but we are going to make a big jump forward because there is some strong potential on this Team.

Final Score. Varsity was 116-53, JV 103-35
